A man-made stone with flecks of copper throughout which gives it the sparkle. A mix of silica, copper oxide or cobalt, and other metal oxides are used to create the colour.  In crystal healing it is said to be protective, deflecting bad energies, and bringing in good luck.  It is a stone of confidence and ambition, encourages motivation and drive.  An uplifting stone it aids self-acceptance and learning, and soothes hypersensitivity.
